Assam lottery result FAQ: result and draw time
What time is the Assam lottery result published?
All 12 series are drawn for 03:00 PM IST. The numbers usually reach the public result lists within about half an hour after that, and our board fills series by series as they arrive.
Is there a 12 PM, 5 PM or 7 PM Assam lottery draw?
The lists we read carry all 12 series at 03:00 PM. Searches for other times usually come from other lotteries, such as the Lottery Sambad draws of Nagaland, which run at 1 PM, 6 PM and 8 PM.
Why do some series appear before others?
The result lists are not always filled in one go. Our system reads them every minute around the draw, so each series shows on our board as soon as it is published, and the rest follow.
Is “Assam Lottery Result Today” a different website?
No. Assam Lottery Result Today is simply the name many people type when they look for Assam Lottery Result. It is the same website: our home page is the “today” page, showing the newest draw of all 12 series and refreshing itself after 03:00 PM. There is no separate page to find.
Is the Bodoland lottery result the same as the Assam lottery result?
Yes. Many people call the Assam State Lottery the Bodoland lottery. It is the same draw, at the same time, with the same 12 series and the same numbers.
Is Lottery Sambad the same as the Assam lottery?
No. Lottery Sambad is a different family of draws, the Dear lotteries of Nagaland, with three draws a day and a much bigger 1st prize. Its tickets and numbers are separate, so a Lottery Sambad ticket cannot win in the Assam draw.
Is there a draw every day?
The result lists we read carry the 12 series every day. If a date is missing from our archive, it is because those lists carried nothing for it, and we show that honestly instead of filling the gap.
What if a number here differs from my printed result?
The officially printed result always prevails. Please tell us the date, the series and the prize through the contact page, and we will check and correct it.
The 12 series
How many series are there, and what are they called?
There are 12 series, all drawn at 03:00 PM: Dear, Rosa, Kuil, Future, Singam, Abble, Thangam, Nallaneram, Kumaran, Swarnalaxmi, Vishnu and Lion. Each has its own full prize sheet.
Are Singam and Lion the same series?
No. Singam means lion in Tamil, which causes mix-ups, but Singam and Lion are two different series with different numbers. Always read the series name printed on your ticket.
What do the series names mean?
Many are Tamil words. Thangam means gold, Singam means lion, Kuil is close to “cuckoo” and Nallaneram means a good time. The names are only labels; they do not change the prizes or the chances.
Does one ticket play in all 12 series?
No. A ticket counts only in the series printed on it. A Dear ticket is checked against the Dear sheet, a Kuil ticket against the Kuil sheet, and so on.
What do people mean by “seat result”?
Some readers say “seat” when they mean a series. A “Dear seat result” is simply the result of the Dear series. Every seat, or series, has its own full sheet here.
Do all series pay the same prizes?
Yes. On every day we have stored, all 12 series use the same six prizes, from ₹1,00,000 down to ₹50, with 132 winning numbers per sheet.
Each series has its own page with its recent 1st prizes. The guide to all twelve series lists every name and explains which ones people mix up most.
Prizes, tax and claims
How much is the 1st prize?
The 1st prize is ₹1,00,000 in each series, for one ticket whose full 6-digit number matches. The 2nd prize is ₹7,000, and the lowest prize is ₹50.
How many digits must match for each prize?
All 6 digits for the 1st prize. The last 5 digits for the 2nd and 3rd prizes. The last 4 digits for the 4th, 5th and 6th prizes.
Can one ticket win two prizes?
No. A ticket takes only the highest prize it matches. If it matches the 1st prize, it does not also collect a lower prize for the same digits. Our checker applies this rule for you.
Is tax deducted from lottery winnings?
Yes. Indian income-tax law deducts 30% tax at source, plus cess, from lottery winnings above ₹10,000. So the ₹1,00,000 1st prize is paid after that deduction. The ₹7,000 2nd prize and the lower prizes are below that limit.
How do I claim a prize?
Follow the claim rules printed on the back of your ticket: the claim period, the address and the documents. Usually you need the original ticket, an ID, address proof, bank details and photos.
Should I sign my winning ticket?
Keep the ticket flat, dry and undamaged, and do not sign it until the claim form asks you to. A torn or written-on ticket can cause problems when you claim.
Can this website claim a prize for me?
No. We cannot claim for anyone, and nobody honest will offer to claim for you in return for a fee or a share. The holder of the ticket claims by the rules printed on it.
The six prizes are the same in every series. This table puts the amounts and the digits to match side by side. For the documents and steps of a claim, read the full prize and claim guide.
| Prize | Digits matched | Winning numbers | Amount | Tax at source |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1st Prize | All 6 | 1 | ₹1,00,000 | 30% plus cess |
| 2nd Prize | Last 5 | 1 | ₹7,000 | None |
| 3rd Prize | Last 5 | 10 | ₹3,500 | None |
| 4th Prize | Last 4 | 10 | ₹200 | None |
| 5th Prize | Last 4 | 10 | ₹100 | None |
| 6th Prize | Last 4 | 100 | ₹50 | None |
Tickets and checking
How do I check my ticket?
Type the 6-digit number into the ticket checker. It compares your number with every series of the chosen date at once and highlights the match on the sheet, with the prize and the amount.
Can you show an example of matching digits?
Take ticket 993973 in Dear as an example. It wins the 1st prize if the Dear 1st prize is 993973. It wins the 2nd or 3rd prize if 93973 is printed there, and the 4th, 5th or 6th if 3973 is printed there.
Can I check many tickets at once?
Yes. Paste a list of up to 300 numbers, or enter the first and last number of a consecutive bundle and check up to 10,000 tickets in one go.
Can I check a ticket from a photo?
Yes. Upload a photo or scan the ticket with your camera. The picture is sent to our server only to read the numbers with an AI model; it is not stored. It can make mistakes, so always compare the result with the ticket in your hand.
Can I check an old ticket?
Yes. Choose the date in the checker, or open that day in the old results. Our archive starts in January 2025. There is a gap of 8 months, from June 2025 to January 2026, because the public lists we read carry nothing for that time.
My number is close to a winning number. Did I win anything?
Only if the right digits match exactly at the end of the number. A number that is one digit off, or that has the right digits in a different order, does not win.
The quickest way to settle any ticket question is to try it. The free ticket checker takes a typed number, a pasted list, a range or a photo. If you want to understand the matching rules step by step, see how to read the prize sheet, with worked examples.

Tools and alerts
How do the phone alerts work?
Turn on alerts once and your phone gets a notification soon after 03:00 PM, when the result appears. On Android this works in Chrome. On iPhone, add the site to your Home Screen first, then turn alerts on from there.
What is My tickets?
A list of your tickets saved on your own phone, with no account or login. After each draw they are checked by themselves, and with alerts on you get a short message saying whether a ticket won.
Is the live draw a video?
No. Our live board is not a video or broadcast of the draw. It fills series by series as the numbers appear on the result lists we read, checking them every 15 to 20 seconds.
Can I get the result by email?
Yes. Sign up for the daily result email. You confirm your address once by email, and every message has a one-tap unsubscribe link.
How do I save a result as a PDF?
Open the day page and tap Save as PDF. Your phone’s print screen opens; choose “Save as PDF” on Android, or the share icon and “Save to Files” on iPhone.
What does the number history show?
Type any 6-digit number and it lists every date and series in our archive where that number, or its last 5 or 4 digits, won a prize. It shows the past only; it cannot predict a draw.
Do I need to install an app?
No. Everything works in your phone browser. If you like, add the site to your home screen so it opens like an app.
Alerts are the easiest way to stop refreshing at 3 PM. The alerts page shows how to turn on the phone notification and the daily email, and how to turn them off again.
The last group is about staying safe. Scam calls and fake result images are common, and the law on buying tickets differs from state to state. Our play-safe guide covers scams, spending limits and free help in more depth.

Safety and the law
Is this website run by the Assam State Lottery?
No. Assam Lottery Result is an independent information website. We are not linked to any lottery department, and the officially printed result always prevails.
Do you sell tickets, tips or lucky numbers?
No. We sell no tickets, take no payments, have no agents and give no tips or numbers. We never ask anyone for money.
Someone says I won and asks for a fee. Is it real?
No. A real prize never needs a fee, tax or charge paid in advance. Stop replying and report it on the cyber-fraud helpline 1930 or at cybercrime.gov.in.
Can anyone predict the winning number?
No. Every draw starts fresh and every number has the same chance. One ticket has a 1 in 10,00,000 chance at the 1st prize of its series, and no chart, app or seller can change that.
Is it legal to buy a lottery ticket in my state?
It depends on the state. Under the Lotteries (Regulation) Act, 1998 each state decides whether lotteries may be sold. Some ban them, such as Tamil Nadu since 2003, and buying or selling tickets there is illegal.
Where can I get help if playing has become a problem?
Call Tele-MANAS on 14416. It is a free and private mental-health helpline, and you can talk to a trained counsellor without giving your name.
How do I report a wrong number or a scam using your name?
Use the contact page. For a wrong number, give the date, the series and the prize. For a scam, say where you saw it and, if you can, attach a screenshot.
Play safe
